Shine a Light on ovarian cancer - Sunday June 6th, Lomond Hotel

Ova2you proudly presents 'Shine a Light', a special event on June 6th at the Lomond Hotel. Join us to shine a light on ovarian cancer with some of Melbourne's finest musicians.

Come down to the Lomond Hotel, East Brunswick, on Sunday June 6th to enjoy some gospel, blues, country and cabaret music performed by some of Melbourne’s most celebrated musicians.

Performers include: Suzannah Espie, Kerri Simpson, Rebecca Barnard, Kelly Auty, The Egan Sisters, Julia Messenger, Diana Wolfe, Tracey Miller, Sally Dastey, Sarah Carroll, Barb Waters, Heather Stewart, Andy Baylor’s Blues is Poetry, Monique Brumby, Marissa Quigley, The Shine a Light House Band and many more.

Ova2you is a new community-based organisation dedicated to shedding light on ovarian cancer.

Ova2you aims are to:

• Raise awareness of ovarian cancer symptoms.
• Promote research into its diagnosis and treatment.
• Alert young women to symptoms before they reach the age of highest risk.
• Lobby federal and state health authorities to increase funding for research.
• Support women with ovarian cancer.
