I'm Judith Louise
Welcome to Ova2you.
I'm Judith Louise and in this blog I hope to give you some idea of my adventures with ovarian cancer. My story starts in 1967 when my mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
At the moment I'm in hospital with pneumonia which is a consequence of my own ovarian cancer. The terrible fact is there have been very few improvements in ovarian cancer treatment over the intervening years.
When I emerge in a couple of days from my hiatus in hospital, I'll keep you up to date with my situation, and my campaign to understand why there has been little advancement in dealing with this disease.
Every 11 hours a women dies in Australia from ovarian cancer.
